Welcome to yDecode!

yDecode is an application that serves as intermediate between your favorite news reader client (for example Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail etc.) and actual news server, therefore implementing proxy functionality. It decodes yEnc messages directly in Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird and many other news reader software like a plug-in. It achieves this by converting posts to the format that your newsreader can understand and display. Except this, yDecode also simplifies your newsgroup browsing and speeds up common operations you can do while reading newsgroups, for example, it can save files for you automatically to a folder of your choice or greatly simplify downloading multipart posts. It is designed to be very easy to use.
